Transense attend SAW Symposium 2010, Villach, Austria
The application of wireless SAW sensors in various branches of industry is gathering pace. For the first time the SAW sensing community, consisting of a number of R&D companies and university research groups, got together at the Wireless SAW Sensor Symposium devoted to practical rather than theoretical aspects of wireless SAW sensors.
The idea was to attract as many industrial participants as possible and turn their attention to unique features of these novel devices. TRT presented their achievements in the field of automotive sensors (it was an invited talk). Other presentations were on the use of wireless SAW temperature, strain and pressure sensors in metallurgy, aero-space industry, power engineering, etc. The symposium turned out to be very successful and it has a good chance of becoming a regular event.
The Symposium website can be found here.
The presentation can be downloaded here (4mb)
