Honeywell
Licensed to manufacture TPMS and Torque sensors and industrial applications
The licence for Transense SAW technology was a contributing factor during recent reorganisations and recently formed "Emerging Technology" division of Honeywell Sensing & Control, with a $750million annual turnover.
The initial Honeywell licence for packaging TPMS sensors signed in April 2002 was extended in November 2004 to include torque sensors and the manufacture of interrogation electronics. The current Honeywell licence includes:
- Tyre Pressure - Packaging of the SAW sensor, manufacture of system electronics, customer and supplier to other Transense licensees.
- Torque Electric Power Assisted Steering (EPAS) - Packaging of the SAW sensor, manufacture of system electronics, customer and supplier to other Transense licensees.
- Torque Driveline - Packaging of the SAW sensor, manufacture of system electronics, integration of sensor, electronics and driveline components.
